Telecom Executive Group, an online recruiting company, created DigitalHire to provide an innovative service that connects recruiters, companies and job seekers to form a comprehensive network for all block hiring needs (large amounts of candidates at once).
Challenges

Existing legacy systems were unable to keep pace with increasing customer demand for block hiring. In response, they envisioned DigitalHire, an association where recruiting partners (affiliates) could consolidate resume sources and maximize candidate placements.

 

Telecom Executive Group needed to enable their vision through Internet-based technology.

 

To become recognized in a crowded and fragmented marketplace as an efficient alternative to traditional recruiting vehicles, such as job boards and virtual career boards.

Refined DigitalHire's value proposition, opportunities and competition through an initial review and workshop that examined their business plan with key executives.

 

Built a technology infrastructure that provided:

 

·         An automated e-mail system to manage the needs of job seekers, employers, and recruiters.

·         A matching engine and tracking system of flexible design and architecture to automatically process and match the multiple candidate resumes submitted.

Results

Delivered a quick and efficient recruitment network that is capable of intelligently routing and fulfilling 1,000 jobs in 2-3 weeks. Partners of DigitalHire have noted that posting a resume on the site is similar to submitting it to a team of 50 firms working in unison.

 

Produced a message vehicle oriented toward potential affiliates and investors, consisting of a slide presentation, multimedia demonstration disk, and documentation, that conveys a positioning statement on how the DigitalHire Recruitment Network is unique in the competitive landscape.

 

DigitalHire experienced a tenfold increase since the site's launch to bring the number of affiliates in their network to 150.

 

Telecom Executive Group was recently named by Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the South Jersey 25, honoring the fastest growing private companies in the southern New Jersey region for 2001.
